🚨 Enhanced Dynamic Variables for Phishing Simulations
If your organization leverages Dynamic Variables for phishing simulations, we have some exciting UI/UX updates designed to give you greater control and clarity.
- Targeted Testing: Admins can now choose between running simulations using your entire user roster or targeting a custom list of specific users.
- Visual Upgrades: We've updated the styling for Variable/Placeholder pills in template rendering, making them much easier to identify at a glance.
How to Enable:
To start using these granular targeting options, ensure the "Dynamic Data for Simulations" toggle is enabled under your Company Settings. Then click on the "Edit Preferences" action and choose your population.
Key Details:
- Custom List Limits: Admins can select up to 4 users for a custom list.
- Smart Fallbacks: If a single custom user is removed from your roster, the application will automatically fall back to using default values for the simulation.
- Default Setup: The "All Users" option remains selected by default.

We’ve overhauled the whitelisting setup process to make configuring and verifying your domains and IPs faster, more intuitive, and highly automated.

- Real-Time Validation Badges: You can now see the instant status of your domain and IP whitelisting directly within Company Settings via clear, visual validation badges.
- Instant Automation (No More "Done" Button): The system now automatically updates your company status to "Validated" the moment successful event validation occurs. You no longer need to manually click "Done" to save your progress.
- Enhanced Audit Trails: We’ve added automated activity logging for completed whitelisting setup validations, making compliance and troubleshooting much easier.
- Timezone-Aware Tracking: The system now tracks and displays the exact date of your last IP whitelisting, accurately localized to your company’s specific timezone.
