TLDR;
This release brings significant improvements to the MSP Portal, enhances 2FA security, introduces the capability to remove domains from the Domain/Email threat alert management view, removes the Opt-In feature, and includes various UI/UX enhancements and bug fixes.
⚙️ Domain Management Improvements
We’re excited to introduce a new feature that empowers admins with greater control over their domain management. Admins can now remove domains directly from the Domain Threat Alerts view within the Symbol Security app. This enhancement simplifies domain management, allowing admins to efficiently curate their domain lists and focus on relevant threat alerts. With this update, maintaining a clean and organized security environment has never been easier.
🗑️ Sunsetting the Opt-in Emails Feature
Several years ago, we introduced the Opt-in Emails feature to give users control over their simulation email preferences. While the concept was well-intentioned, usage data has shown that this feature is rarely utilized. Additionally, maintaining it has added unnecessary complexity to our development process.
To streamline our platform and focus on more impactful improvements, we decided to remove the Opt-in Emails feature. This change will not affect users who have already opted in, and all email communications will continue as usual. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make the Symbol Security app more efficient and user-friendly.
🔧 Other Improvements
- UI fixed when user categories with long names are targeted in the company program schedule and mandatory content.
- We've lengthened the 2FA timeout for improved security.
- Fixed an issue when inviting new admins and SSO was enabled at the company.
